Both these pairings have a dub/noncon bent. Hineman canonically kissed John by force when he was on the verge of dying from her plant poison; my prompts for them are building and elaboration of that. My reading of Charlie/Mav is that it's a very unhealthy relationship, so I'd like to see that explored. My reading of Charlie/Mav is that it's a very unhealthy relationship, so I'd like to see that explored. I like Mav as a Sub With Issues, seeking out touch and also pain and getting those wires extremely crossed, and also not knowing where his boundaries are, and Charlie as a domme who also doesn't really know much about figuring out where her subs' boundaries are, and incompatible with Mav to the point of being casually cruel.
OFC/Mav could be very much an extension of these same issues, but could also be softer and sweeter - slightly older Mav having a surprisingly happy, aftercare-filled experience with a random lady he met in a bar, or eating out a stranger to distract himself from his own self-loathing and ending up having a great time bonding with her over a few drinks afterward, even if he never sees her again.
