Nomination question

If there are more than two people in a relationship, a) must all of them be labeled as dominant or submissive, or just at least one of each? And b) if there is at least one female dominant, may there also be a male dominant?

Example a) is dom!Hermione/sub!Ginny/Luna allowed? Or dom!Hermione/sub!Ginny/switch!Luna?
Example b) is dom!Hermione/dom!Harry/sub!Draco allowed? Or dom!Hermione/dom!Harry/sub!Ginny?

Hi! Thank you for your questions. In regards to a) I've changed the nomination format to "Character A doms Character B" in order to be more clear. For multiple character ships, it would be "Character A & Character B dom Character C" or "Character A doms Character B & Character C" and so forth. I wanted to make it more clear that characters are not required to self-identify with being A Dom or A Sub, or have a concrete identity as A Dom or A Sub, but simply that they're taking on a more dominant or submissive role within the context of the story. Because of this, it won't be possible to indicate if a character is a switch. Though they may very well be a switch, within the story they should be acting as either dominant or submissive.
b) No, since the exchange is focused on females acting as doms, male characters will not be accepted as doms even if there is also a female dom in the story.

Any chance of changing the wording on the rules post for F/M ships? Not all F/M relationships are het, any more than all F/F relationships are lesbian.

Can we give our author permission to do a level less than explicit if we are okay with receiving femdom without explicit sexual content? It would be listed as an optional detail, as I am happy with explicit or non-explicit, and it would be in the sign-up form so that I can't change it once sign-ups close.

I'll add that to the nomination rules. To be clear, if you nominate something with "Any character" it will just mean any character in that fandom, not any character ever. I suppose if you wanted any character ever, you could nominate it under crossover fandom and do it like "Hermione Granger (Harry Potter) doms Any Character (Any Fandom)."

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I have very little experience with AO3 exchanges. So, I see that we can request and offer up to 10 pairings. Will the option "any" be available in case there are more than 10 nominated pairings for my fandoms and I want to offer or request all of them? That was available in the other AO3 exchanges I signed up for a few months ago, but I'm not sure if that would be the case here as well.

Could you contact Dragcoin and let them know that their signup is not correct? I don't want to have to un-offer two of my fandoms to avoid matching to someone who's stating up front that they don't want the tags in the tagset.

The participant has been contacted about their signup already and given a chance to modify it to meet the rules for the exchange. Don't worry, if it is not fixed by the time signups close, their signup will be removed; the onus is on them to correct their signup, not you to edit your own.

Yes, I will definitely be making that an explicit rule in future rounds. I was shocked to realize it wasn’t already in the rules—but it must have slipped my mind when I was first writing up the rules, though the Dreamwidth for the exchange is marked as 18+, so as far as I’m aware, minors signing up hasn’t been a problem.

Feel free to screen this comment for participant's privacy. SuckerForLove24 appears to be new to exchanges and signed up with very specific ships in the prompts despite selecting "Any relationship" for several fandoms.
